Juarez, Jennifer

Jennifer K. Juarez

Jennifer Juarez defends companies in the areas of product and professional liability, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice.

Jennifer’s 15 years of litigation experience is diverse and includes leading arbitrations and mediations as well as playing a key role in jury trials. She has extensive experience leading and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing and responding to discovery. The breadth and depth of Jennifer’s varied experience enable her to jump in and hit the ground running providing key strategy advice and large case management.

Before joining Tucker Ellis, Jennifer practiced at a prominent insurance defense firm concentrating on director and officer liability cases. She also served as litigation counsel for the nation’s fourth-largest school district, where she achieved the dismissal of the district’s largest sexual assault case through dispositive motions.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer practiced at a leading plaintiffs’ firm, handling cases related to medical malpractice, personal injury, birth injury, mass tort, product liability, premises liability, and the opioid crisis. In this role, she secured multiple multimillion-dollar settlements and played a key role in a consolidated pharmaceutical litigation in Cook County, Illinois, which resulted in a $2.4 billion resolution. This experience provides Jennifer with a strategic advantage when defending clients.

Following law school, Jennifer served as the Senior Judicial Clerk to William D. Maddux, then Presiding Judge of the Law Division in Cook County, Illinois.

Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys traveling, rock climbing, and spending time with her family.
