Jennifer Burkhart

Jennifer supports clients through every stage of litigation, from initial case assessment to trial preparation and resolution. She conducts in-depth legal research, drafts persuasive motions, and works closely with expert witnesses to develop strong defense strategies. She also assists in discovery, prepares witnesses for depositions, and ensures clients are well informed throughout the litigation process. Her attention to detail and strategic approach help clients navigate complex legal challenges with confidence.

Before joining Tucker Ellis, Jennifer gained valuable experience in medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, and commercial litigation, defending healthcare providers and businesses in Missouri and Illinois. She has experience taking depositions, drafting motions, and working with expert witnesses to develop strong case strategies.

Jennifer also brings in-house experience from her time with a global medical device company, where she advised on regulatory compliance and contract matters. Her background provides her with a unique perspective in defending companies facing product liability claims, particularly in the healthcare and life sciences industries.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as practicing her yoga skills.
