Eugene M. Killeen

Eugene Killeen provides business and transactional counsel to a variety of businesses and with emphasis on complex public and structured finance transactions.

Over the past 30 years, he has represented state and local governments, private borrowers, banks, investment banks, securities underwriters and venture capitalists in a wide array of commercial finance, public finance, project finance, economic development, asset monetization, and private equity finance transactions ranging in size from $1,000,000 to $1,100,000,000. He also serves as the primary outside corporate counsel for a variety of businesses, governmental bodies and nonprofit organizations, including healthcare organizations, museums, schools and universities, manufacturers and information technology companies.

Gene serves as a Director of a number of nonprofit organizations in the Cleveland area. He has served as a Director of the Catholic Charities Corporation and has served on that organization’s Executive Committee. He has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Rose-Mary Center, a home for severely developmentally disabled children. He also recently served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Jennings Center for Older Adults and is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Saint Martin de Porres High School.
