Elizabeth (“Libbey”) LaSavio represents clients in cases involving premises liability, product liability, general negligence, and specialty insurance litigation.
Libbey is particularly experienced in the defense of companies sued in toxic tort litigation, whether based on premises liablity, product liability or employer liability. Libbey represents clients in various industries – among them, equipment suppliers/manufacturers, premises owners, and component part manufacturers/suppliers.
Skilled in cross examination, investigation, trial and oral advocacy, Libbey is known for her ability to combine offensive and defensive strategies that result in early favorable resolution or successfully leveraged trial preparation. She manages claims from inception, including offensive and defensive discovery, key cross examinations at deposition, initial case assessments, and motion practice. She spearheads preliminary investigations, which include interviewing witnesses, analyzing allegations, and threshold discovery, as well as site inspections.
When she is not working, Libbey enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time with her family.
