Breshauna Perkins helps employers navigate the complexities of labor and employment law in state and federal courts.
As workplaces and labor and employment laws constantly evolve, Breshauna enjoys helping clients stay up to speed. She makes it her priority to understand the unique and individual challenges of each client’s business to achieve critical workplace solutions and best position them for success.
With a particular emphasis on employers in the health care, transportation, and logistics industries, Breshauna defends clients in litigation involving discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, harassment, and trade secrets under state and federal law. She is experienced in all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions, briefs, and trial preparation.
Breshauna has experience drafting drug and alcohol policies and employee handbooks, and she is adept at handling emerging issues, such as COVID-19 responses and corporate policies, including remote work and vaccination requirements. She also devotes a significant portion of her practice to counseling employers on a variety of labor and employment matters, including accommodations under The Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
