On October 25, Tucker Ellis sponsored the 2019 Celebration of Human Services, an event hosted by The Center for Community Solutions (CCS), a nonpartisan think tank focused on solutions to health, social, and economic issues in Northeast Ohio. The annual celebration shines a spotlight on people and organizations that enrich the lives of local residents. Opening the celebration was Carter Strang, chair of the CCS Board of Trustees.

Students from John Hay Early College High School – the Tucker Ellis pipeline partner school – attended the event as the firm’s guests. Cuyahoga County Juvenile Judge Michael J. Ryan – the only African-American Juvenile Judge in the state of Ohio – shared his inspirational story of how he turned his own childhood roadblocks into stepping stones.
