Tucker Ellis Promotes Five Attorneys to Counsel

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has promoted five attorneys to counsel effective January 1, 2024.

Kelly Baldini represents companies in complex civil litigation involving products liability, intellectual property, and commercial disputes. She is experienced in all aspects of the litigation process and works closely with pharmaceutical and medical device companies, insurance companies, and other businesses both in and out of the courtroom to achieve optimal outcomes in each case. Ms. Baldini received her law degree magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law and her undergraduate degree cum laude from Arizona State University.
Alex Kaplan is a civil litigator. He represents clients in federal and state court litigation, as well as in arbitration, mediation, and other forums. Mr. Kaplan handles individual, derivative, and multi-party disputes involving all manner of claims, including claims for fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, intentional and negligence-based torts, product liability, and wrongful death. He also handles claims brought under California’s Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law, and Consumer Legal Remedies Act, as well as RICO, 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Kaplan received his law degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Davidson College.
Spencer Krebs practices primarily in the areas of construction law, complex commercial and business litigation, and community association law. He represents owners, condominium and homeowners’ associations, contractors, suppliers, architects and engineers, and design professionals. His litigation practice includes representing clients at trial and in arbitrations, mediations, and appeals involving a wide range of construction and real estate matters. On the transactional side, he provides advice and counsel on issues including construction contracts, design agreements, leases, and other contract documents. Mr. Krebs received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame College.
Dan Schiau is a deal lawyer with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, finance, and real estate. His experience includes drafting, negotiating, and closing transactions of all sizes and levels of sophistication. He also practices in the financial institutions and employee ownership spaces, having represented both community banks and worker ownership funds at various stages in their lifecycle. Mr. Schiau received his law degree summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Clemson University.
Brandon Wojtasik focuses on matters involving corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance. He counsels clients ranging from local, privately held businesses to private equity firms and public companies. In the boardroom, he advises businesses and executives on corporate growth opportunities, reorganizations, and checks and balances to ensure that each business adheres to the best corporate practices for its needs. Mr. Wojtasik received his law degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Baldwin Wallace University.
