Tucker Ellis Promotes Five Attorneys to Counsel

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Anne Cruz, John Favret, Soo Lin, Justin Rice, and Karen Ross have been promoted to Counsel.
Ms. Cruz practices in the Los Angeles office of Tucker Ellis in the areas of business and products liability litigation, and has extensive experience involving commercial disputes, product liability, and financial institutions. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute where she serves as articles editor of the Publications Subcommittee of the Women in the Law Committee. Ms. Cruz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with her undergraduate degree, and received her law degree from UCLA School of Law.
Mr. Favret practices in the firm’s Cleveland office. A member of the firm’s trial department, he defends medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, health care institutions, physicians, and nurses in all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts throughout Ohio. He is a magistrate judge in the Shaker Heights Juvenile Court Diversion Program and a mock trial competition coach for John Hay High School in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Mr. Favret received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Ms. Lin practices in the Los Angeles office of Tucker Ellis, focusing on defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in nationwide product liability litigation. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association where she participates in providing law, business, and government training to students at inner city high schools in the L.A. Unified School District. Ms. Lin is also a member of the Korean American Bar Association’s Membership/Social Committee. Ms. Lin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her law degree cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Mr. Rice practices in the firm’s Cleveland office. A member of the trial department, he focuses on products liability and business litigation defending medical, pharmaceutical, and industrial companies in products liability and personal injury lawsuits, and banks and financial services companies in trust administration and financial suitability matters. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Young Lawyers Committee. Mr. Rice received his undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Southern California and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Ms. Ross practices in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis in the firm’s trial department. She focuses on mass tort, product liability, and medical malpractice, defending some of the nation’s leading manufacturers and medical care providers. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association where she participates as a High School Internship Program volunteer. She also leads Tucker Ellis attorneys as coaches for the John Hay High School Mock Trial Team, and she established the Tucker Ellis John Hay High School Mentoring Program. Ms. Ross received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
