Tucker Ellis Promotes Eight Attorneys to Counsel

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has promoted eight attorneys to counsel effective January 1, 2023.

Kristen Chic focuses on complex business litigation, contract disputes, employment/ERISA matters, and real estate litigation. She has successfully represented some of the largest retailers worldwide, as well as title insurers, contractors, and fiduciaries in hotly disputed matters. Experienced in all aspects of litigation, Ms. Chic engages in dispositive motion practice, taking and defending key depositions, conducting legal research and analysis, and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements. Ms. Chic received her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, with a semester abroad at Peking University.
Anna Gecht represents businesses of all sizes in trial and appeals courts nationwide. She has handled all aspects of legal disputes and has successfully resolved lawsuits involving business torts, shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, real estate transactions, and construction disputes. Ms. Gecht received her law degree cum laude from CSU College of Law and her undergraduate degree cum laude from The Ohio State University.
Max Huber focuses on civil litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, and medical malpractice defense. He represents a wide array of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to closely held corporations in matters involving general and commercial litigation, civil rights, consumer protection, personal injury, and wrongful death. He manages all aspects of trial preparation, including conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, and coordinating the completion of written discovery and document production. Mr. Huber received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and his undergraduate degree cum laude from Saint Louis University.
Ross Kowalski assists clients in securing, protecting, licensing, and enforcing patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property. He is experienced in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing license agreements, as well as drafting infringement and freedom to operate opinions. He works with companies in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, consumer products, and medical devices. Mr. Kowalski received his law degree summa cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law and his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Ohio Northern University.
Andrea Lowe focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters in the areas of mass tort and product liability, commercial business disputes, employment, and insurance. She is experienced in all aspects of the litigation process, ranging from pre-suit, initial pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial. Ms. Lowe received her law degree from Southern University Law Center and her undergraduate degree cum laude from Southern Illinois University.
Nathan Nasrallah represents clients in complex civil litigation matters as a member of the Tucker Ellis Health & Life Sciences Group. He has experience in all phases of the litigation process, and he has managed a variety of cases involving medical device and pharmaceutical liability, business disputes and commercial litigation, white collar crimes, and government regulations. Mr. Nasrallah received his law degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Capital University.
Giuseppe Pappalardo is a trial lawyer who represents pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, as well as large hospitals, in individual cases, multidistrict litigation, and class actions. Mr. Pappalardo also is part of a Tucker Ellis team that serves as national counsel in personal injury litigation for two Fortune 300 companies. He received his law degree magna cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University.
Hannah Smith is a litigator in the areas of white collar criminal defense, business litigation, and real estate litigation. She defends clients, both corporate and individuals, in matters involving fraud, public corruption, tax matters, RICO, and housing violations. Her experience includes extensive trial practice – having litigated more than 65 trials – and appellate work. Ms. Smith also dedicates part of her practice to land use and zoning, to secure approval for clients and engage in related litigation. Ms. Smith received her law degree cum laude from CSU College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Yale University.
