On December 15, Tucker Ellis obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a wrongful death case tried in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for client Heather Hill, a long-term acute care hospital. The plaintiff surviving spouse claimed that the hospital and respiratory therapists were negligent in the manner in which they provided respiratory care to the plaintiff’s husband. Following a five day trial, the jury deliberated and returned a complete defense verdict.
