On May 6, the John Hay Early College High School (JHEC) Mock Trial Teams coached by Tucker Ellis attorneys took both first and second place at the 17th Annual Cleveland Mock Trial Championship. The Tucker Ellis teams also won four best attorney awards and three best witness awards. The effort was coordinated by Karen Ross and Brandon Cox, and included Julie Callsen, John Favret, Chelsea Mikula, and Carter Strang. Also coaching was JHEC graduate and Tucker Ellis Stokes Scholar Trevor Scott, who spent last summer as a legal intern in the firm’s Cleveland office.
