Tucker Ellis IP Practice Growth Continues with New Partner Carlos Garritano

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Carlos Garritano has joined the firm as a partner in its growing Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Group, further expanding its capabilities in that area.

Mr. Garritano is located in Cleveland. He practices in the area of intellectual property consultation and strategy. He works closely with clients to create “big picture” plans that provide multiple layers of coverage and protection for their patents, copyrights, and/or trademarks. Carlos routinely works with Fortune 500 companies and small to mid-sized businesses to create custom-tailored IP plans for each client, based on their unique needs and business goals. He has extensive experience in the areas of patent litigation, portfolio development, licensing, patent prosecution, and post grant proceedings.
Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, Mr. Garritano is particularly suited to the field of patent preparation and prosecution. He earned his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
The Tucker Ellis Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Group has flourished in 2015, adding attorneys at every level, as well as acquiring a prominent IP law firm in San Francisco, California.
