Tucker Ellis Helps Make Rock the Foundation a Success
February 2021
Tucker Ellis sponsored “Rock Sweet 16,” the 16th Annual Rock the Foundation Gala of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF), held virtually on Valentine’s Eve, February 13.
Livestreamed into the homes of hundreds of attendees, the event set Rock the Foundation records for money raised – despite the pandemic – for CMBF support of the bar association’s award-winning pipeline diversity programs that serve Cleveland and East Cleveland public school students.
Tucker Ellis partner Carter Strang, who also is CMBF President, presented the Richard W. Pogue Award for Excellence in Community Leadership & Engagement to Lee Fisher, Dean of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and Peggy Zone Fisher, President and CEO of the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. Ross Kowalski (pictured below) participated in the Rock Sweet 16 “This Bar’s Got Talent Show,” and joined Sanford Watson and Carter in an opening event singalong of “All You Need Is Love.” Tucker Ellis Chief Operating Officer Art Bernstein joined Carter as a member of the CMBF Rock Sweet 16 Committee.
