Tucker Ellis Commits to 2024–2025 Mansfield Certification Process
August 14, 2024
Tucker Ellis is proud to announce that it has committed to the 2024–2025 Mansfield Certification Process administered by Diversity Lab to boost and sustain inclusivity and diversity in law firm leadership. In Diversity Lab’s press release, Tucker Ellis is recognized among “Early Adopters–Firms That Consecutively Achieved Mansfield Certification for 5–6 Years & Remain Committed.”
According to the press release, more law firms have committed to the 2024–2025 Mansfield Certification Process than at any point in its history. Nearly all of the firms currently seeking Mansfield Certification have renewed their commitment, while 19 firms have joined the community. Today, more than 365 law firms in the United States, Canada, and UK have committed to the process, illustrating that the legal profession remains dedicated to its values and fair and inclusive talent practices.
Each year, firms are asked to recommit to the principles of transparency, accountability, and knowledge sharing that are required through the certification process. Mansfield supports participating firms by providing the structure and guidance needed to build and maintain transparent processes, open the door wider for all talent, and connect and collaborate with each other to exchange best practices.
“We know that law firms that remain steadfast and accountable to the Mansfield Certification process are making real progress in creating inclusive talent practices and diversifying their leadership,” explained Tucker Ellis Managing Partner Joe Morford. “We’ve made positive progress here at Tucker Ellis since we joined Mansfield, and we’re motivated to continue taking measurable actions to improve our processes and ensure that they are — and remain — inclusive.”
Tucker Ellis has participated in the Mansfield Rule since 2020 and earned the highest level of certification, Mansfield Certification Plus, in all iterations for which results have been announced: 2020–2021, 2021–2022, and 2022–2023.
