Stephen Ellis Receives Centennial Medal Award

Tucker Ellis LLP is proud to announce that name partner Stephen Ellis has received The Centennial Medal Award from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. The Centennial Medal Award is the highest award bestowed upon a graduate of the school.
“We couldn’t be happier to see our good friend and Partner so deservedly recognized with this award,” said Managing Partner Joe Morford. “Steve’s life and his career are distinguished by his enormous creativity, energy, commitment, and spirit. He makes all of us better people and practitioners, to everyone’s benefit – client, community, and firm alike.”
Mr. Ellis is a CWRU School of Law adjunct faculty member and the 2012-2013 chair of the Society of Benchers. He gave the commencement address to the law school’s Class of 2008. He has volunteered on many CWRU boards and with organizations including the Greater Cleveland Partnership, the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center, Hiram College, and Kent State University. He is recognized on the lists of Ohio Super Lawyers® and The Best Lawyers in America®, and was recently honored with the ORT America 2013 American Jurisprudence Award.
The Centennial Medal Award recognizes a CWRU School of Law alumnus who has demonstrated excellence and leadership in the practice of law, public service, or commerce; significant legal scholarship; significant participation and leadership in professional organizations or activities; extraordinary commitment and active contribution to the community; and consistent involvement in CWRU School of Law affairs.
