Peter Jones was named chair of The ESOP Association’s (TEA) Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Advisory Committee at TEA National Conference 2023, held May 16-19 in Washington, D.C.

In addition to assuming his new role, Pete presented on “Understanding Control & Impact on Valuation,” including an exploration of judicial decisions both inside and outside the ESOP context with respect to what constitutes control of a corporation; the Department of Labor’s past and present views as to control; and the impact of control on the valuation of employer securities.
