John McCaffrey has been appointed Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers’ (ACTL) Ohio State Committee for 2023-2024. The American College of Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds from the United States and Canada. The College maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on important legal issues relating to its mission. State Committees, along with their counterparts in Canada, are the backbone of the College, and perform important work that includes the nomination of candidates for Fellowship and the organization of local outreach activities. John previously served as the ACTL Ohio State Committee Vice Chair.
