Tucker Ellis is proud to announce that Brian Brookey has received DRI’s Albert H. Parnell Outstanding Program Chair Award. The award honors a DRI program chair who created a dynamic educational program meeting DRI’s organizational expectations and enhancing DRI’s image. Honorees must also have led and participated in the effective planning, marketing, and presentation of that program, displaying leadership, dedication, and creativity in seminar development.

Brian chaired the 2018 DRI Intellectual Property Litigation Seminar. Along with the seminar planning committee, he set goals to expand diversity and sponsorship revenue. In using creativity and determination to reach his goals, Brian set a precedent of excellence and attention to diversity in DRI’s Intellectual Property Litigation Committee. Thanks to his efforts, sponsorship exceeded its budgeted goal and attendees actively participated in panels and sessions.

According to DRI, “Mr. Brookey’s leadership brought to life a seminar that embodied the educational and diversity goals of DRI, and did so with an inclusive, open leadership style that encouraged all members of the planning committee to participate fully.”

Brian received the award at DRI’s Annual Meeting in San Francisco on October 20.
