Brian Brookey has been appointed vice chair of the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (IPO) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee for 2025. The committee recommends policy and programs to the IPO Board of Directors; oversees and ensures that IPO speaker panels and leadership appointments are diverse; oversees and ensures that IPO Committees incorporate the adopted D&I vision into their activities; creates educational materials to help promote D&I efforts in the IP profession; oversees the creation and maintenance of resource groups organized around underserved populations in the membership who self-identify/volunteer as being interested in participating in an IPO Resource Group; and works with other IPO Committees to create synergistic projects and programs.
