
Since 2020, Tucker Ellis has participated in the Mansfield Rule, an annual certification process designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms and legal departments has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. We are proud to have earned the highest level of certification since our first year of participation.

The Mansfield Rule, administered by Diversity Lab, is a science-backed and data-driven inclusive sourcing process that helps boost inclusivity, equal access, and transparency in advancement processes and leadership roles at participating organizations. To maintain its effectiveness, the certification standards continue to evolve year-over-year based on data-backed insights. By taking part in this initiative, we continue to refine our internal processes and promote inclusive practices in how we staff matters, respond to client requests, and support the development of our attorneys.
2024–2025 Mansfield Rule
In 2024, we renewed our commitment to the Mansfield Rule by joining the 2024–2025 cycle. In Diversity Lab’s press release, Tucker Ellis was recognized among “Early Adopters–Firms That Consecutively Achieved Mansfield Certification for 5–6 Years & Remain Committed.”
Mansfield Certified Plus
Tucker Ellis is proud to have achieved the highest level of Mansfield Rule certification – Mansfield Certified Plus – since our first year of participation. This certification is awarded to firms that achieve Diversity Lab’s inclusion benchmarks.
