On December 13, Vicky Vance presented a webinar to West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) on EMTALA – the federal law that governs how patients are to be evaluated and stabilized when they present to an emergency department. Vicky presented the program to the emergency room nurses and physicians as part of their ongoing medical education series.
