On April 1, Vicky Vance moderated a panel at the Crittenden Medical Insurance Conference in Miami, Florida. The panel discussed how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has affected the access and delivery of health care services; the practical and structural risk to patients and providers should the ACA be eliminated, minimized, or delayed; and risk management strategies to address a future without the ACA safety net. The panel also predicted the impact on claim trends, exposures, damage calculations, and valuation when the ACA mandates for affordable coverage are eliminated.
