On March 6, Tod Northman was part of a Cleveland State University lunch and learn panel discussing “The Halachic Origins of Economics Damages Litigation.” The panelists provided a general introduction to the biblical sources for topics including Torah and Talmud, American damages and liability principles, primary Halachic damage categories, litigation American contract damages, principles of negligence, and court rules under Jewish law.
