On April 30, Susan Racey co-presented “Postnuptial Agreements in Ohio: Opportunities and Issues” at the ACTEC 2023 Ohio Fellows Meeting in Cincinnati. Included in the presentation was an overview of Ohio S.B. 210, which legalized postnuptial agreements and the amendment and termination of prenuptial agreements, effective March 23, 2023. The presentation also covered existing law on marital agreements in Ohio, including marital property, spousal rights, and premarital agreements, as well as guidance for drafting a marital agreement.
