On April 1, Rita Maimbourg and Ed Taber presented “Legal Issues Facing Nurses in the OB Care Setting” to the Southwest General Health Center Maternity Services staff. In this risk management program, Rita and Ed discussed the anatomy of a lawsuit, shared tips on avoiding legal pitfalls in documentation, and presented a mock deposition.
