On November 8, Grayson Sieg co-presented “SNDAs, Estoppel Issues in CRE Transactions: Estoppel Us If You’ve Heard This One Before” at the 46th Annual Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) Real Estate Law Institute. Grayson was joined by Kristen Nelsen, General Counsel of Chase Properties and Jacqueline Hoelting-Van De Merwe, a Principal at Singerman, Mills, Desberg & Kauntz Co., L.P.A. to discuss common issues in structuring and negotiating Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements and tenant estoppels. The panelists also provided insight into what protections lenders are looking for and common negotiating techniques to get to the finish line.
