On March 23, Brian Brookey was a panelist at an Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) webinar, “How Allyship Advances Diversity & Inclusion in the Legal Profession: Part 3 – Practical Tips for Pulling It All Together.” Allyship is the practice of promoting and advancing social justice, diversity, and inclusion through supporting members of an oppressed or marginalized group. The panelists discussed what it means in the law firm context to be an ally, how we can learn from our mistakes, and how to be better allies to underrepresented communities.
