On September 12, Art Mertes moderated a panel at the Private Company Governance Symposium, hosted by the Society for Corporate Governance in conjunction with Private Directors Association. Art joined the panelists in discussing private equity governance, including board and committee structure, investor rights, voting rights, the need for independent directors, and legacy plans. The symposium was held in Chicago.
