Karl holds degrees in physics, chemistry, and computer science, and brings over 20 years of experience in high-technology patent prosecution. His work spans industries from emerging technologies to established global markets, helping clients maximize the value of their innovations.

Karl’s area of technical expertise includes computer architectures and specialized processors; enterprise software, cloud computing, and distributed systems; generative AI and machine learning systems; automotive mapping and navigation technologies; wireless charging and power transfer systems, including EV applications; semiconductors and integrated circuit design; electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies; electronic devices and digital media technologies; and advanced light sources, including laser systems, LEDs, and photonic devices.
