Evan Perry counsels individuals and organizations on intellectual property issues to generate awareness and enable them to make strategic decisions regarding their IP portfolios.
As a primary focus, Evan works closely with clients on the acquisition, utilization, and enforcement of intellectual property. He also helps clients navigate others’ existing intellectual property to avoid infringement.
Evan has experience with many sophisticated technologies, including semiconductor fabrication and devices, computer memory systems, welding systems, virtual reality, wireless communications, medical imaging, and computer software and hardware systems deployed in a wide range of industries.
Before attending law school, Evan discovered a passion for open source software, which inspired him to pursue a career as an intellectual property attorney. With a deep appreciation of software and software development, he continues to develop software as a hobby. Based on his experience, Evan recognizes the ever-growing role of software in all technology areas, the impact of this trend on industries, and the challenges clients face to remain competitive.
In addition to spending time with his family, Evan enjoys long nights as an amateur astronomer.
