Eight Tucker Ellis Attorneys Promoted to Counsel

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has promoted eight of its attorneys to counsel effective January 1, 2021.

Zach Adams counsels Fortune 500 companies, employee- and family-owned businesses, privately held companies, and multinational corporations in cases involving commercial disputes, business torts, and products liability. In his product liability practice, he has defended products including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, microchips, consumer goods, automobiles, elevators, escalators, commercial construction equipment, paints and solvents, and electronic cigarettes and vaporizers. Mr. Adams received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and dual undergraduate degrees from Miami University.
Ashley Gault concentrates on commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of real property assets, debt and equity financing, land use planning, joint ventures, and the formation and operation of ownership entities. She negotiates purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, development agreements, leases, and financing documents for commercial, residential, and government projects. Ms. Gault received her law degree from Florida State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University.
Nicholas Janizeh represents major pharmaceutical and medical device companies in state, federal, and multidistrict litigation across the United States. He counsels clients on all aspects of product liability defense and has experience working up cases through all phases of litigation – from initial pleading challenges and discovery to trial. Mr. Janizeh received his law degree with honors from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law; his master’s degree from Columbia University; and his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
Drew Kemp defends manufacturers of industrial and consumer products in state and federal courts across Missouri and Illinois. He also works on national and local defense counsel teams in mass tort litigation, represents clients in contract disputes and property damage cases, defends work-related personal injury cases, and advises clients in contract negotiations. Mr. Kemp received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Christina Marino represents clients in general civil, medical malpractice, and products liability litigation. She has worked on cases with a national scope involving medical devices, prescription drugs, and consumer products and has defended health care providers in cases involving complex medical and legal issues. Ms. Marino received her law degree magna cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Denison University.
Christina Suh represents banks, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on complex financing transactions. She has extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting a wide variety of secured transactions, including agented and syndicated loans, real estate financing, commercial credit and asset-based lending, health care lending, subordinated debt, and private equity transactions. Ms. Suh received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
Brittany Weiss represents pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in coordinated proceedings, multidistrict litigations, and individual cases. Her experience spans several aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, conducting and defending depositions, attending court hearings, and assisting with overall case strategy. Ms. Weiss received her law degree from The John Marshall Law School and her undergraduate degree with distinction from Purdue University.
Ryan Winkler defends product liability and mass tort claims for manufacturers of commercial and consumer products including automobiles, aircraft components, elevators, escalators, infrared heaters, hydraulic pumps, commercial food processing equipment, paints and solvents, and asbestos-containing products. He also is part of a Tucker Ellis team that serves as national counsel in motor vehicle accident and premises liability litigation for two Fortune 300 companies. Mr. Winkler received his law degree magna cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.
