Keith Raker, John Slagter, and Ashley Gault spoke at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s (CMBA) 41st Annual Real Estate Law Institute 2019, held November 7-8 in Cleveland. On November 7, Keith moderated a panel discussing competing interests in financing leasehold estates – owners, tenants, and lenders. On November 8, Ashley was part of a panel discussion, “Beware of the Boilerplate,” where she discussed confidentiality, force majeure, and time of the essence. John shared tips from the bench for real estate lawyers and served as the moderator for Ohio Supreme Court Justice Patrick Fischer and Eighth District Court of Appeals Judge Michelle Sheehan.
