On July 8, Julie Callsen and Jonathan Cooper were panelists at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the International Association of Defense Counsel. Julie joined a panel of lawyers discussing “The Impact of International Regulatory Actions and Marketing on United States Litigation.” The discussion explored trends in discovery and strategies to challenge the admissibility of evidence at trial, as well as strategies for counseling clients on the impact of international activities on U.S. litigation. Jonathan offered his insights on “From Amosite to Nanotechnologies…How Asbestos Has Shaped Litigation on Dangerous Substances,” which explored ways to update long-term defense strategies.
