On November 5, Matt Kaplan presented a Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) webinar, “Food, Drugs, Cosmetics, Dietary Supplements, Advertising – and the Special Legal Rights of Senior Citizens: What all Senior Citizens Need to Know When They Make Decisions Regarding Their Purchases.”  Matt addressed how the FDA, FTC, and the State of California regulate some of the most important consumer items we buy and the remedies available to senior citizens if they have been misled. He also provided an overview of the regulations governing the labeling and advertising of food, cosmetics, and dietary supplements and the interplay of the regulations and consumer rights.
