In February and March, Sherry Knutson, Katy Garceau, and Brittany Weiss participated in Girl Scouts Project Law Track – Chicago, an annual program sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women and the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. The series of four exciting sessions, each focusing on a different facet of the practice of law, is designed to introduce Girl Scouts in grades 6 through 12 to the legal field by broadening their understanding of what it means to be an attorney and allowing them to experience the possibilities that are available to them by working side-by-side with female role models. Sherry co-chairs the program, which culminated in a half-day mock trial on March 10. Tucker Ellis was pleased to make a donation to the Girl Scouts, to be used toward scholarships and to defray program costs.
