On January 1, Law360 quoted Chris Hewitt in “Shareholder Activism Poised for Busy, High-Stakes 2018.” Chris noted that in response to dwindling opportunities in the U.S., shareholder activists will target foreign countries in the coming year. “It’s spreading to other countries. You see some more going on in Canada, Australia, Japan, [and] Hong Kong …,”  he said.
