Charissa Walker, City Co-Lead of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) of Charlotte, North Carolina, is helping to coordinate an LCLD community service event to be held on March 22. A partnership between LCLD and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the event aims to engage with students who are interested in learning more about careers in law. “Changing the Legal Game: Diversity in Action” will focus on the variety of opportunities available in the legal field for enacting change and provide 1:1 interactions with attendees.
