On December 12, 2024, Tucker Ellis obtained a defense verdict for client Davey Tree Surgery Company in the Superior Court of San Luis Obispo County, California. The six-week trial involved claims for traumatic brain injury and other personal injuries asserted by a plaintiff who collided with a Davey Tree truck while riding his motorcycle. The Tucker Ellis team secured the verdict after the plaintiff requested $60 million in economic and non-economic damages.
