Kaplan, Zach

Zachary O. Kaplan

Zachary Kaplan harnesses his criminal justice background to support Tucker Ellis teams across a variety of practice areas.

Zach assists clients across a range of practice areas, with a particular focus on business litigation and mass tort and product liability matters. He supports Tucker Ellis attorneys throughout the litigation process, from the filing of the complaint to the resolution of the case. His experience includes conducting detailed factual investigations and targeted legal research; drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, discovery documents, and motions; and preparing for trial.

Zach leverages his background with the United States Marshals Service to navigate complex legal challenges with skill and composure. Having served as an extern for the Honorable Judge John A. Adams during law school, he fostered a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking by reviewing civil case documents, drafting court orders, and contributing feedback on proceedings.

Zach currently resides in Medina, Ohio, with his wife and his two dogs. In his spare time, Zach enjoys traveling, exercising, and taking his dogs on walks. Zach is also passionate about his Detroit sports teams and his favorite soccer team, Liverpool.
