On September 22, Susan Racey spoke at the Marvin R. Pliskin Advanced Probate and Estate Planning Institute at the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) in Columbus. Susan, who is secretary of the OSBA Estate, Trust, and Probate Law Section, also served on the planning committee for the annual full-day seminar, which featured panel discussions covering a variety of trending topics in probate and estate planning. She and her co-panelists shared selected highlights from the 134th Ohio General Assembly. Susan, who helped make postnuptial agreements a legal reality in Ohio, discussed this topic along with changes to Ohio law regarding the presentation of claims against estates and a new optional process for terminating trusts/trusteeships.
