On May 12, John Slagter and Bakita Hill presented an overview on legal and fiduciary responsibilities in “Role of the Board,” a Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) seminar. Featuring an expert panel, the seminar provided guidelines for effective and meaningful nonprofit board service and a clear understanding of the role and the expectations of a nonprofit board member.
