On September 23, Jason Torf presented a session at the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) Western Credit Conference, “Understanding a Small Business Reorganization Under New Subchapter V of the Bankruptcy Code.” Jason explained and analyzed various aspects of new subchapter V, including eligibility requirements, differences from a traditional chapter 11, the impact on trade creditors, and how subchapter V has worked out so far.
