Fellenbaum Joins Tucker Ellis to Lead International Disputes Practice

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Joshua Fellenbaum has joined the firm as counsel in the Cleveland office. Mr. Fellenbaum will lead the Tucker Ellis International Disputes practice as part of the firm’s thriving Business Litigation practice, collaborating with attorneys firmwide across disciplines in resolving international litigation and arbitrations.
Mr. Fellenbaum has significant experience advising clients worldwide on international dispute resolution matters, with a particular focus on strategic settlement tactics, commercial arbitration, mediation, and investment arbitration. He handles matters before international arbitral tribunals and relating to cross-border disputes, and advises clients on cross-border issues ranging from pre-dispute advice to the enforcement of arbitration awards.

Mr. Fellenbaum’s experience includes serving as counsel, tribunal secretary, and advisor in international disputes covering sectors including mining, banking, energy, automotive, commodities, insurance, telecommunications, and infrastructure. He is also experienced in representing clients in matters concerning state responsibility and public international law. Mr. Fellenbaum has been involved in cases under the auspices of major arbitration rules, including the ICC, JAMS, FCCC, ICSID, LCIA, PCA, and the SCC, plus ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL rules. He also accepts appointments as arbitrator.
Recognized internationally, Mr. Fellenbaum is listed among the world’s leading arbitration specialists in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration – Future Leaders. He serves on the Peer Review Board of “ICSID Review — Foreign Investment Law Journal” and is a faculty member of the HKIAC’s Tribunal Secretary Accreditation Programme. Previously, he served as a vice chair of the International Arbitration Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.
Before joining Tucker Ellis, Mr. Fellenbaum worked for leading law firms in Australia, Sweden, and England. He relies on his diverse experience working in both the common and civil legal systems and with various types of disputes to strategically advise clients throughout each step of the applicable dispute resolution process and is particularly experienced in successfully resolving matters for clients before they proceed to full-blown arbitration or litigation proceedings.
