Tucker Ellis is recognized for our progress in creating, enhancing, and sustaining our diversity and inclusion strategies.

Tucker Ellis LLP is proud to announce that the firm has been selected for the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s “2015 Commission 50.” Members of the Commission 50 are recognized annually for progress in creating, enhancing, and sustaining their diversity and inclusion strategies.

“We work to improve our diversity and inclusion strategies every day—not just in Cleveland, but across all our Hallways,” said Sanford Watson, chair of the Tucker Ellis Diversity & Inclusion Committee and recipient of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 2014 Inclusion Innovation Award. “While we still have a lot to do, our membership in Commission 50 is evidence that our continued efforts toward building a more inclusive and diverse culture are working.”

“It's great that our programs and efforts to date have made an impact, and we look forward to seeing how our next creative ideas work out,” said Joe Morford, Tucker Ellis Managing Partner. “The best part is that everyone at Tucker Ellis cares about this. Not just some of us, but all of us. To me, that’s why we will keep making strides on diversity and inclusion – because it matters to everyone that we succeed in this regard.”

Commission 50 recognition is based on responses to the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s annual Employers Survey on DiversityTM. Scores are tabulated based on the survey’s four metrics: board diversity; senior management diversity; workforce diversity; and supplier diversity. Organizations are ranked by each of the four metrics and rankings are combined to produce a final score. The 50 organizations with the highest combined scores receive this distinguished designation.
