Tucker Ellis Coaches CEC High School to Mock Trial Success

May 2016

Tucker Ellis attorneys coached the Cleveland Early College (CEC) High School’s mock trial teams to victory this week, with one team winning first place honors and a second team winning honorable mention recognition. In addition to team successes, one of our coached students won the award for “best overall defense attorney,” while another won the “best overall witness” award. Both students will receive paid summer internships with the Cleveland Municipal Court.

The first-place victory marks CEC High School’s fifth championship since Tucker Ellis began its mock trial program nine years ago. Tucker Ellis attorneys coaching and assisting with this year’s mock trial teams include Karen Ross, Brandon Cox, Carter Strang, Chad Eggspuehler, and Chelsea Smith.
