On November 19, Peter Voudouris addressed DRI’s Complex Medicine/Experts Special Litigation Group (SLG). Peter led a discussion on tips, tricks, and lessons learned from working with high-profile experts in mass tort litigation over the last 15 years, focusing on some of the more unique and unusual experiences he has encountered with experts in fields such as orthopaedic surgery and engineering, pathology, biomaterials, and pharmacology. The SLG is focused on addressing emerging issues in medicine and science when dealing with medical and scientific experts. It also assists practitioners in honing their skills in the development of defense experts and in defending against plaintiff’s science and medical experts.
