Tucker Ellis attorney Michael Anderton was quoted in Lawyers USA on the new National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) focus on at-will employment pacts and the likelihood that changes in America’s unionized workforce could be one of the reasons behind it:

“‘Intuitively, it’s not hard to figure out that union membership is on the decline,’ said Michael Anderton, counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis. ‘So potentially, the things that might be handled and processed by Board and its employees might also be on the decline. This new focus might be a little bit of self-preservation on the part of the NLRB.'”
